KATY

Hello … Some of you may already know, but my name is Katy. I am around 5/6 years old, and I am a medium sized cross breed.

I am with phoenix dog rescue waiting and hoping to find my forever home. I have been waiting a very long time now, 554 days to be exact. I’m very happy and looked after where I am but I do hope that I won’t have to wait too much longer for my forever someone.

I am a very nervous and shy girl, and I’m very fearful of strangers. So, I do think I need my new family to have some experience. I really don’t mean to, but when I first meet/see someone I am reactive through fear. I just hope that there is someone who can look past this, as once I know you are safe, I will shower you with affection and love. Because I am initially so nervous, I would need a quieter home, without children.

I don’t want to be fussy, but I don’t get on with other pets unfortunately so I will need a home without. And I would love a nice secure garden to call my own.

My favourite things are treats, going out on long walks, and I just love to play!
