Ginny

Hello, my name is Ginny. I am a small cross breed and I’m around 6 years old.

I came to Phoenix August 2023 to look for my new home, but unfortunately, I needed cruciate ligament surgery, so I’ve had to wait a while to start my search. My foster mum Meg said that I was the perfect patient after my surgery, and very well behaved. I am fully recovered from my surgery, and ready to find my forever family.

I do suffer with arthritis, so I go for a monthly injection at the vets for this. I also attend hydrotherapy which I’ve really started to enjoy.  My foster mum did say that she Is happy to discuss this with anyone who may be interested in me, and that phoenix can cover cost for these if needed. So please don’t let this put you off me!

I’d love a secure garden of my own for me to play in and go to the toilet in. I am clean in the house, and I am crate trained too. I am also happy to be left for short periods too!

Everyone describes me as the sweetest, loveliest girl and they all say that I am going to make someone very happy one day. I promise to try my best! I am quite shy when I meet new people, but it won’t take too long for me to show you my cheeky side! I do like to pinch socks and shoes; I won’t chew them though!

I would like my new home to have no other pets, I can be very selective with dogs that I get along with, and it does take a long time for me to be comfortable around them when I do.

I’m very affectionate and I’d love someone to have lots of cuddles with. Could that be you?

KATY

Hello … Some of you may already know, but my name is Katy. I am around 5/6 years old, and I am a medium sized cross breed.

I am with phoenix dog rescue waiting and hoping to find my forever home. I have been waiting a very long time now, 554 days to be exact. I’m very happy and looked after where I am but I do hope that I won’t have to wait too much longer for my forever someone.

I am a very nervous and shy girl, and I’m very fearful of strangers. So, I do think I need my new family to have some experience. I really don’t mean to, but when I first meet/see someone I am reactive through fear. I just hope that there is someone who can look past this, as once I know you are safe, I will shower you with affection and love. Because I am initially so nervous, I would need a quieter home, without children.

I don’t want to be fussy, but I don’t get on with other pets unfortunately so I will need a home without. And I would love a nice secure garden to call my own.

My favourite things are treats, going out on long walks, and I just love to play!
